Established in 1990, Fab and Fix is one of the UK's leading Hardware Companies. Facilities include Design, Manufacture and Distribution of hardware components; from Handles and Hinges to Locking Systems and accessories. Fab and Fix has over 5,000 product lines used by fabricators of PVCu, Timber, Aluminium, Steel and Composite materials; located in a modern distribution site based in Coventry.
Sales Office Support
Fab and Fix have an experienced Customer Service Department and a dedicated nationwide sales force. The Customer Service team processes all orders and can answer questions on availability and order tracking. Orders must be received by fax 02476 585786 or through our dedicated order email service sales@fabnfix.co.uk. Upon receipt, a member of the sales team will input the order and contact the customer to confirm order status, either by fax, email or telephone. Deliveries are designed around the needs of each individual customer, ensuring that reliable and complete deliveries are made - on time, every time, which is normally next working day.
Marketing Support
Our "Product Information Packs" provide comprehensive details on the extensive range of hardware solutions available for windows and doors. The pack is sectioned into product area for easy reference and contains detailed technical information. Product Display Boards in particular highlight the uniqueness of Fab and Fix through suited colour variations from traditional white and gold to modern chrome. Our showroom in Coventry is the ideal place for customers to view the fully colour suited range of products along with the latest technological developments in window and door hardware.
Demand Forecasting
Our commitment to providing a customer focused business is enhanced through our dedicated "Forecasting Team" who sit down with customers and plan the business relationship. Forecasting ensures that Fab & Fix totally understands exactly what a customer needs, and when.
Research and Development
Fab and Fix has many years' experience of developing product ranges to comply with constantly changing Building Regulations, as well as British and European Standards. Currently, more than 75 products incorporate patented or registered designs.
Technical Support
The technical team has a real insight into customers' and can advise on appropriate hardware solutions taking into consideration issues such as safety, security, fire egress and corrosion as well as the requirements of the Decent Homes Standard and the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA). Fab and Fix is a "Secured by Design" licensed company with a substantial in-house product design and testing facilities to monitor existing products and to develop new solutions. The company is also an active member of the Local Authority PVC-U fabrication Advisory Group (LAPFAG) who's only mission is to promote, for the public sector benefit the highest commercial ethics and technical standards in PVCu materials, PVC-U manufactured products and glazing installations. Our technical team can also provide on-site and in-house training seminars, or in some cases provide answers to your hardware application questions over the phone.
Quality and Testing
A commitment to Quality has been fundamental to the development of the company with all products subject to a series of rigorous endurance tests to guarantee long-term trouble-free performance. All testing is performed under strictly controlled procedures and forms part of a commitment to BS EN ISO 9001 Quality Assurance accreditation scheme. For security specific applications, additional testing is conducted to follow the procedures laid down in documents BS 7950 Improved Security Performance of Domestic Windows, General Performance (PAS 23) and Improved Security (PAS 24).
